I've noticed the new crafting trend in cute charms like I'm sure you all have.
First there were the adorable cupcakes, then the sushi charms, then we went onto full fledged meals and little vials filled with salts or colored water. Now we have little charms and jewellery boxes and mirrors covered in this very smooth, very real looking whipped topping!
I’m the type where I see a craft that’s a mystery to me and I have to try to dissect it and figure out how to do it. I tried my regular polymer clays, but they all crack and split when you try to push them through the star moulds. You mix them with liquid sculpey and they still aren’t the right consistency. Then there’s that nice shiny bright white they all seem to have! Argh!
Finally, while hovering around on Etsy, I came across this Cream Dolly Frosting Ah hah! It wasn’t some magical alchemy of just the right clay mixed with just the right liquid! I could stop wasting all my white haha!
This stuff is amazing! Provided you have more patience than I do and you won’t touch it as it air dries, or you can control your animals curiosity so that they don’t paw at it, but WOW!
And that isn't your only option if you don't feel like spending $17+ after shipping. Lots of companies are now producing these in much smaller quantities so you can give them all a try and figure out what works best for you!
